 Melvin was born on July 27, 1927 and passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2016. Melvin was a resident of Portland, Oregon at the time of his passing. He graduated from Portland Union Academy in 1946. He was married to Ruth. Services were held on Sunday February 28th 2016 at the Sheridan Seventh-Day Adventist Church Melvin was interred at Willamette Nation Cemetery in Portland Oregon on Wednesday March 2 2016.
