Mercer, Richard `Dick' N. 83 Jan. 24, 1928 May 14, 2011 Dick was born in Portland and passed away with his loved ones by his side. After Dick retired from The Oregonian in 1993, he and Jana spent time traveling around the world. Dick is survived by his wife, Jana; son, Richard; five grand-children; and six great-grand-children. He was preceded in death by his son, James. There will be a celebration of life from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 5, 2011, at 5065 Foothills Drive, Lake Oswego.
