Eric Craig Tucker, 44, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 23, 2021, in McMinnville, Oregon. Eric is survived by his wife, Amy Tucker, of Lafayette, Oregon, daughter Brianna and husband Dallas Brewer, daughters Rebecca, McKenzi, and Jazmin, and son Timothy, two granddaughters, parents Mary Ann & Bruce Tucker, and grandmother Fern Bess. He was also a beloved son-in-law, brother, and uncle. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jenn Goddard. Eric's family came second only to God, and his faith was a huge part of his life. He loved his country and dedicated eleven years of his life serving in the U.S. military. He was the king of the spontaneous road trip, and there are many goofy photos to prove it. The family all agree that Star Trek is near the top of the list of what was important to Eric, perhaps just below family and country. Ultimately, he will be remembered as an outdoorsman and grill master, lover of animals, and all-around great guy. Most of all he will be remembered for his corny dad jokes (which he was telling long before he was a dad) and infectiously positive outlook, which could not be dampened even in the darkest times. He will be remembered fondly by the people whose lives he has touched. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 2nd at 2:00 PM at Wennerberg Park, 1003 W. Grant Street, Carlton Oregon, 97111. The family requests that attendees dress in a cheerful manner and bring chairs so that families can socially distance. Contribution of individual "finger food" type desserts is appreciated. To send flowers to the family of Eric Craig Tucker please visit our Tribute Store.
