Peachey, Soldier Mat 21 March 12, 1992 May 17, 2013 Mathew B. Peachey was born Mar. 12, 1992, in Pendleton. Mathew passed away May 17, 2013, while serving at Fort Riley, Kan. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, May 28, 2013, in the Canby Foursquare Church with a graveside service and military honors to follow at 3 p.m. in Willamette National Cemetery. Mathew is survived by his father, John Peachey; siblings, Angie Johnson, Michelle Knoch, Melissa Peachey and Daniel Peachey; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Karen. He will be missed and remembered with love. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mat's name can be made to the Boys and Girls Aid Society of Oregon or North Clackamas Christian High School in care of the Pvt. Mat Peachey Scholarship Fund.
