 Mr. Green was in the Marine Corps 1962-66 and served in both Okinawa and Vietnam (before the war). He attained the rank of sergeant.

Green, Charles L. 70 June 30, 1941 May 03, 2012 Charles died at home at age 70. He married wife, Donna, in 1967. He is survived by three children, Tracie (Mike), Kellie (Coby) and Jason. Also surviving are four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Gayland and Gary; and sister, Joyce. Charles' family owned Al's Shoe Store for 60 years, he worked there since the age of 13. He was also a proud Marine. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2012, 11 a.m. at Omega Funeral and Cremation Service 223 SE 122nd Ave., Portland.
