| Christian Eduardo Teston Chavez Obituary Chavez, Christian Eduardo Teston 22 Mar. 30, 1992 Mar. 21, 2015 Christian Eduardo Teston, 22, died in Cabot, Ark. He was born in Portland, the son of Eduardo Teston and Gabriela Chavez. Since childhood, Christian had a wonderful imagination, always coming up with new inventions from an umbrella belt holder to an airplane that could dive underwater. "The imagination is better than acknowledgment," is what he used to say, which drove him to plan his education in engineering. He was an exemplary young man, setting a great example for his two sisters and four brothers. He enjoyed music, reading, airplanes, video games, texting and was a great chef, claiming he inherited his culinary skills from his grandparents. Christian was very proud of his Latin roots, faith and being an American. Enlisting in the U.S. Air Force was one of the happiest days of his life. He was a great son, brother, friend and soldier. ----- A service is being held at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 29, 2015, at Lincoln Memorial Park and Funeral Home. Christian will be laid to rest at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 29, 2015, in Willamette National Cemetery, with military honors. |
