Denzil Gene Samsel

Stevenson, Washington

CPL Denzil Gene Samsel, 22 joined the Army in 1947 and served in the Korean War where he was taken as a POW. Denzil died from malnutrition while "in
the hand of the opposing forces" in the prison camp on 28 February, 1953. He has never been recovered, but the family has chosen to honor both brothers together at this time.
